GRC is one of the core products of Jushui Technology GRC. It is a large curtain wall panel made of glass fiber reinforced cement (GRC). It has the advantages of high strength and light weight, strong plasticity, clean and environmental protection, unique design, obvious decorative effect and thin-walled large panels. The product is mainly used for the exterior wall decoration of modern urban buildings, especially landmark cultural buildings with special structures, and can replace natural stone in high-end buildings.
GRC can meet the self-cleaning function of the building surface, the function of removing atmospheric pollutants, the decorative function and other related functions such as insulation, earthquake resistance, waterproof and fire prevention. It is a typical feature of nonlinear architecture, and the soft curves echo the ecological landscape around the base. This project uses internationally advanced new materials E-GRC (glass fiber reinforced cement curtain wall panels with self-cleaning function), hot-bent glass, and large-span steel structure roofs. BIM technology is used to achieve the transformation of building form and products. The entire project uses advanced three-dimensional space design software, so that the building can accurately match and flexibly connect the ceiling surface when looking up at the product in-depth design, production, installation, etc.

▲Classic case description---Nanjing Youth Olympic Center
The Youth Olympic Center project is the most modern landmark building in Nanjing. The design was created by the famous deconstructivist design master Zaha Hadid. The exterior of the building is like a space sailboat, implying "young people sailing and riding the wind and waves." The total area of the project is 5.2 hectares, with a construction area of about 480,000 square meters. GRC curtain wall panels are 110,000 square meters. The use of GRC panels in the Youth Olympic Center is the project with the largest amount of GRC materials, the most complex shape, and the highest construction difficulty in the world, which indicates that my country's GRC technology is at the leading level.

▲Classic case description---Yinchuan Art Museum
The building was designed by the internationally renowned WAA. The building's staggered and textured exterior design was inspired by the ups and downs and twists of riverbank sediments after thousands of years of scouring. The GRC technology was used to create a soft and tortuous architectural effect. And the different branches of the building are connected in a streamlined and tortuous way. The length of a single GRC board in this project reached 18 meters, and a combination of single and double curved surfaces was used to present it in an acute angle. The project is the "First Art Museum in the West" built on the wetland where the Yellow River passes.
GRC mainly targets the special-shaped, personalized, and landmark characteristics of modern buildings. It introduces digital 3D technology in a breakthrough way, combined with the high strength and toughness of the material, so as to accurately prepare products with complex shapes. The product has rich decorative effects, outstanding protective performance, and excellent physical properties, which meets the requirements of nonlinear architectural characteristics.
The technical characteristics of GRC are mainly reflected in the following four aspects:
① High plasticity. The digital three-dimensional ground model technology is fully utilized to enable the product to accurately position the shape, and at the same time, it can express the architectural decoration effect and appearance characteristics in any color, shape or texture.

② Excellent surface protection. The comprehensive protection system is adopted to ensure the waterproof function of the product surface while realizing the anti-fouling and self-cleaning function, which improves the durability of the building's exterior decoration effect.

Nanjing Youth Olympic Conference Center, the 100,000 square meters of GFRC exterior wall panels in the shape of a spaceship, are the first to use photocatalysts to eat up the city's haze! The surface of the hyperbolic exterior wall panel-GRC is coated with a layer of chemical coating that can eliminate the chemical components of the haze. Don't underestimate its role, it can decompose the exhaust gas emitted by about 1,000 cars every day.

▲When ultraviolet rays pass through the haze and are projected onto the GFRC board, the photocatalyst (nano TiO2) on the surface of the GFRC board will react chemically with nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the haze.
▲TiO2 absorbs photon energy generated by ultraviolet radiation, releasing holes and electrons, which react with water and oxygen to produce free radicals (free radicals);
▲Free radicals are some extremely active molecules that act on adsorbed pollutant particles to decompose them.
The entire chemical reaction is very complicated. Simply put, after the chemical reaction occurs, haze will be decomposed into a small amount of less harmful chemical components, such as calcium nitrate (a salt compound in fertilizer), carbon dioxide and water. In this process, TiO2 itself is not affected, so the chemical reaction can continue. In short, because of this unique shape, GFRC panels can disperse more ultraviolet rays and contact more pollutants, thereby eating more haze through chemical reactions.
③Excellent durability. High-elastic PVA fiber is used as a supplementary reinforcement material for the GRC structural layer, and PP fiber is used to assist in improving the surface layer's resistance to microcracks, thereby improving the product's durability and thus increasing the building's service life.

④Lightweight and thin wall. GRC can achieve the characteristics of large plates and thin walls, which greatly reduces the load-bearing capacity of buildings, allowing the product to be applied to the exterior walls of high-rise buildings, making the building shape flexible and the overall texture prominent.
